Sizing

To get the correct fit, subtract 1/2" (1.27 cm) to 3/4" (1.90 cm) from your wrist size to determine which Sabona bracelet size you need. Sizes are Small (5.5" or 13.97 cm), Medium (6.0" or 15.24 cm), Large (6.5" or 16.5 cm), and Extra Large (7.0" or 17.78 cm). Copper jewellery should be snug, but not too tight. If you are in between sizes, it works better for the band to be smaller rather than larger.

Caring for your Sabona

To clean your Sabona bracelet, regularly use a good jewellery cleaning cloth to keep both the outside and inside clean and polished. Our plain copper bracelets require more frequent attention as they will oxidize and tarnish if not regularly polished. The piece has a thin, clear coating to prevent tarnishing for a short time, but it will wear off. Copper, when in contact with the skin, forms chelates with human sweat (sometimes seen as a green deposit on the skin) and is thus absorbed through the skin. This is normal and harmless, however, if you like, It can be removed with soap and water or lemon juice. Remember to remove your jewellery while using cleaning products and swimming to avoid unnecessary harm to the piece.
